Be Balanced Wellness Retreat is an immersive four-day weekend of wellness expertly crafted around the 8 dimensions of wellness. This retreat offers an opportunity to relax, renew, and restore physically and mentally, specifically designed for the woman prioritizing total wellbeing and a balanced lifestyle. Founder Janna Hicks, along with her team, guest speakers and cohosts, offer inspiration, insight, and empowerment through foundational wellbeing and strategic lifestyle development workshops and discussions as well as guided movement experiences. The retreat is intentionally small and intimate allowing for thoughtfully curated moments, to foster community and connection.
Every detail of our retreat is intentional, giving the essence of luxury and relaxation, from the intimate grouping of guests to the inspired setting. Workshops are punctuated by shared meals, cocktail hours, breaks, spa treatments and more. Our mission is for guests to leave BBWR with an actionable plan for creating a balanced lifestyle that is more consistent, enjoyable, and authentic. We invite our guests to discover what it means to

Rooms span 13 separate lodges, connected by meandering paths, each room is directly accessible from outside, with private outdoor space and inspiring views of majestic trees, the calm waters of Lake Travis, or the peaceful nature preserve. Regardless of which room you choose, you’ll find ample space for reflection and restoration.

In these luxurious rooms, the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve is your backyard. Take in sweeping views from your second- or third-floor room, which includes patio space overlooking the Preserve’s pristine rolling hills. There’s no better place for a slow start to the day—or for quiet reflection at day’s end.
Your retreat price is based on your choice in accommodations and whether you're sharing the space with your bestie (sister, cousin, mom, etc.) or settling in for some alone time with the space all to yourself.

Be Balanced Wellness Retreat was created from a love of travel, the outdoors, and genuine connection. With a B.S. in Sports Medicine, a M.S. in Exercise Physiology, Personal Training Certification as well as Clinical certifications, Janna's entire career has been dedicated to health and wellness. Her personal philosophy on balance is "have your cake and eat it too". A lover of dessert, wine and killer workouts, Janna leads the retreat experience with 12+ years of background and knowledge to share and an open heart to learn and grow. She invites you to join the retreat and find out what it means to;
